Good nutrition is extremely important for your body and what you are eating is imperative to your health.  In today’s society, cancer, stroke, heart disease and diabetes are causing deaths all over the U.S. and have been related to the way you may be eating.  The average person is not aware that the food they are consuming maybe over time killing them.  Changing your eating habits is just one of the many milestones that will begin to change your life.       

Regardless, food is not the key factor to a healthier life.  Believe it or not, good nutrition along with daily exercising is key factor to a healthy life.  A healthy person is also a non-smoker, limited exposure to the sun, a stress manager and a controlled drinker.  Unfortunately, if you do all of these things, you may not be healthy if your family has health problems.  

Knowing this, you still want to be aware of the decisions you are currently making and then slowly change them for the better.  Even if your family has a history of health conditions, avoiding certain things will lower your risk to the condition his or her has.  You also want to regularly take vitamins.  Vitamins give your body nutrients that you may not always be consuming.      

Balance your diet in moderation to stay healthy.  With the three main proper components of nutrition; carbohydrates, protein and fat, dieting will be a new way of living.  It is essential to watch what you are eating and eat less or more to balance your weight gain or loss.
